What is the Greater White Bear Lake Community Foundation?
We are a local community foundation that exists to inspire philanthropy to enrich the lives of all people in our community. We strive to make our communities a great place to work and live by investing in the community, engaging donors to support our local nonprofits, training leaders, and connecting resources to needs and opportunities in the communities.
Our Mission
The Greater White Bear Lake Community Foundation was established in 2015 by local community leaders who envisioned an organization based on community. A community of donors. A community of grantees. A community of volunteers. And a community of individuals, families, businesses, and others who live, work, and play in the greater White Bear Lake area.
Our mission is to inspire philanthropy and to enrich the lives of those who live in the communities that share the shores of White Bear Lake—Birchwood Village, Dellwood, Grant, Mahtomedi, White Bear Lake, White Bear Township, and Willernie—now and in the future.
What We Do
LISTENING
We identify community needs and raise funds that are awarded to community groups.
LEADERSHIP
We encourage people to become leaders and raise funds for the year-long program.
